ElIgibIlity

Active Collaboration

To be a member, you must serve as an Ambassador for a year or more and be recommended by a current member. Availability is a consideration.

Note: Monetary dues mentioned previously are waived for the year 2023 due to the NDN collective grant cycle.

Criteria

  1. Indigenous preference.

  2. Must be an entrepreneur or creative.

  3. Demonstrate goal and value alignment.

  4. Must complete a questionnaire and gauge reciprocity for the space.

  5. Complete Onboarding Training

  6. Age Limit - 18 years old

Responsibilities

  • Attend regularly scheduled meetings

  • Participate in Slack for communications 

  • Sign up for a Circle Team - Members are leads 

  • Volunteer at least five (5) hours/month 

  • Website placement

  • Discounted or Free rates for Cahokia events

  • Attend monthly meetings

  • Part of the decision-making process

  • Propose program ideas

  • Keys to the space


  • Create one (1) Cahokia official-based event 

  • Must participate in IPD Phx Fest planning

  • Sign Up for a “Deep Clean Day” of the space

  • Giveback - Skillshare - Share + Tell

Proposal

Participate in the proposal process and can answer these questions in a group setting.

  • Why do you want to join?

  • What do you want to bring to
    the table?

  • What’s your mission/purpose when thinking about social impact?

  • Be a part of decision-making for proposals introduced to the space.

  • Mandatory Training - Sociocracy 

  • Acknowledgment of Code of Conduct

  • Attend or plan a cultural Field Trip

  • One free full-day use of space for public events or large gatherings (4+ hours).

  • Unlimited free access to space for business meetings and non-public gatherings shorter than 2 hours.

  • A remote workspace in Downtown Phoenix.

  • Internet use in the space.
