About the Artist
Selina A. Scott’s artistry is shaped by the love and memories of her Diné and Latina heritage. Raised between the Navajo Reservation and El Paso, Texas, her paintings and mixed media works celebrate the warmth, laughter, and safety she felt growing up. Through her art, she weaves together childhood memories with the universal longing for home and connection.
✨ A Note from the Artist:
“This is a body of work that was created in a few months, but carefully nurtured for over 25 years. I had the privilege of growing up with both my parents, grandparents, all my aunties and uncles, cousins, and many more relatives from the Navajo Reservation all the way to El Paso, Texas... *‘Feels like Home’ is a portal into my memories and my heart, and takes me close to home when I am too far to reach. I hope you can feel these moments of my home and if needed, find your way back to yours.*”
Don't miss this heartfelt debut that captures the warmth and spirit of a home deeply rooted in heritage.
